Road House (2024)

(originally posted 3/23/2024) I had super low expectations, because (1) there was just no way it was going to be good, (2) why would you remake Road House? and (3) I've always loved Patrick Swayze. But this didn't suck! And, with my low expectations, that was almost like it was good!  Seriously, though, it was entertaining, better written than it had any right to be, and had its own story.  They didn't try to do a redo of the original story/character, and that was a good thing.  There was also good music on and off thoroughout the movie.
